Create your workspace

Every Hubit account starts by choosing a role. Property owners get a workspace automatically on registration — everyone else (tenants, vendors, businesses, delivery partners) either self-registers or joins an existing owner's workspace by invite.

If you're an owner: sign up, verify your email, and your workspace is created immediately. You can add properties straight away — a 14-day trial with full Growth-plan features starts the moment you register, no card required.

  • One workspace per owner (or per sub-company, if you run multiple portfolios under separate logins)
  • Everything you add — properties, units, invites — is scoped to that workspace
  • You can switch between workspaces from the top-level account menu if you belong to more than one

Add properties and units

From your dashboard, add a property with its address, type and photos. Each property can then have units added individually or in bulk — set the unit number, size, rent amount and status (vacant, occupied, under maintenance).

Units are the anchor for almost everything else in Hubit: leases, tenants, rent invoices, maintenance tickets and asset records are all attached to a specific unit or property.

Invite your people

Owners invite tenants and caretakers by email — the invite carries a scoped role and, for caretakers, a specific set of assigned properties. Vendors and businesses can self-register or be invited directly.

  1. Tenants: invited to a specific unit, they complete a short KYC step and can sign a digital lease
  2. Caretakers: invited to one or more properties, with read/create access scoped to only those
  3. Vendors: browse the job board or get invited directly to quote a specific task
  4. Businesses: self-register and go through their own KYC + storefront onboarding before listing products or services
  5. Delivery partners: self-register, set their vehicle type and service area, then toggle availability

What happens next

Once tenants and vendors are in, rent auto-invoices on the due date, maintenance requests flow through a structured pipeline, and — if you've enabled it — the platform's AI insights start flagging underperforming units and depreciation risk after enough data accumulates.

From here, the rest of this documentation is organized by pillar — jump to whichever part of the platform you're setting up next.
